Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is the next flagship model from Sony Ericsson. It has a 4.2 inch touch display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, 8 megapixel camera and a 1 GHz ARMv7 Processor, Adreno 205 GPU, 343 MB memory and HDMI out.

Some of the Xperia Arc highlights are the camera with its low light capabilities both for video and still photos and rappid capture rate. The 4.2 inch display is of course large and nice and the addition of Mobile BRAVIA Engine further improves viewing pleassure.

The Xperia Arc is the second phone released with Googles new operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Google's own Nexus S by Samsung was the first phone with Gingerbread.

Xperia Arc should be available in stores at the end of March.

is this really the flagship model? I thought SE had something else up their sleeve... maybe not.

Also thought maybe the Pro would be their flagship model. Just curious.

It's a very good looking phone. The design alone will impress a lot of prospective customers.

Build quality looks poor.
Plastic battery cover and frame.?
Will never compare to premium build products like the iPhone and Htc's.
Unless priced at 60%.

Sony also recently show poor screen quality and poor battery life.

Haha, yeah, because every HTC is built really fabulous and 100% made of metal. But I do agree that the iPhone 4 is the best industrial design ever. Especially with the great antenna built into the casing, which never ever showed one problem Oh, and the iPhone 3G(s) was also perfect indeed. With the titanium back and stuff like that. Just fabulous!
