Bit pathetic really:
I asked whether in the future it would be possible to delete the pre-installed items from the memory.
This is the reply I got:
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson.
Regarding your enquiry concerning the T300, networks install the
preinstalled items and thus vary from network to network.
As such the items cannot be deleted even with a master reset.
Please contact us again if we can be of any further assistance or visit our
website on http://www.sonyericsson.com for information on products or
support.

I dunno, I was under the impression from topics on here that the preinstalled items were part of the firmware and were installed before even the networks took a look at the phone. |

Pictures, themes, ringtones, templates. Most people just want the pictures and templates gone though. |

That reply is just corporate run around. Tell her you just upgraded your FW with a non network specific rom and still have the prob.

You can do it on T68i anyway. It seems that T300 is the only one that can't do it.

t68i can delete
- pics
- ring tones that are NOT called 'Melody XX'
- not a single theme dang nabbit
thats it. glad i got a t68i rather than a t300. they both cost the same effectively for me - $0 on 24mnth $30 contract. BTW that is AUD
