hi everybody! I just bought a new T68i (grey) for my girlfriend. My blue T68i has the cool SE logo as shut down image, but the grey ons has a stupid "die another day" image. can i change this?

As its so new, use your consumer rights & get it changed to a "standard" t68i saying that your gran passed away & the "Die another day" thing is bringing it all back.

@mac, Ring the shop, tell them your not happy, what have you got to loose, if you leave it too long they wont do it for sure. good luck.

I don't think that the firmware upgrade will change the startup/shutdown animations. I faced the same problem with a t68i with vodafone's startup/shutdown logos, but the firmware upgrade didn't work. I believe this is the case because the firmware upgrades actually do patching instead of full install.
