I think they have kept the display the same, the back camera looks VGA.
Wasn't expecting them to make covers for it though

the display is the same, its fairly common knowledge that ipad 3 will vastly improve that
The front camera is vga, but the rear is 720p with HD recording, 30fps

the poly case looks pretty useful

which is still at the top end of industry standard, even a year after initial release.

sadly, I think its costs which keep ipad and other tablets from adopting a higher res at this time, while focussing on other more cost effective improvements

lol

I'm saying that the display is the most important feature on the iPad, everyone knows that, and it's a shame they haven't upgraded it... but will still sell millions no doubt

apparantly, according to stats in the presentation, iPad has sold 15 million compared with iPhone 100 million, whch I think is a phenominal comparison given that I see 50% or more on my commute with iphone but I rarely see an iPad.

Not a fan of iOS as a tablet OS, nor as an OS in general...

And I still dont have much interest in a tablet, it's as if its confused, is it a phone? A computer? Id probably only find use for it for a few minutes a day...

Im all for the traditional tablet though, touch screen/keyboard... Speaking of that, the new Samsung slide out laptop/tablet thingy looks great!

Well, each to their own, im sure all those who buy it will be happy with their purchase

use one and you will see. thats what I did initially as I also wasn't convinced.

I use my ipad for much different uses than I do my iphone, there is probably only 20% overlap for me
