wayfinder is one of the best gps softwares...........no need to replace it
ps........its not rocket sience you know...either you pay and use the GPS or not........otherwise use Google Maps, only tracking software who is free (real free).
pss.......some operator-companys give you free unlimited GPS period, (not in your case though, its bound on each deal)

Try MGMaps. It is not a navigation application but it will show routes. It also supports offline maps. |

@plankgatan: it's been ages since wayfinder is not supported anymore and you CAN'T buy a license. So, any other suggestions?

Wayfinder was sold to Vodafon'e (so Wayfinder still exist but in a different shape....the Vodafone-shape
instead Sony Ericsson has begun with the rival Wisepilot. Its a really good GPS software with Navtech maps and several kinds of navigation (on foot or by vehicle), and with free text search for such persons or companies.
pss....hey wait a minute...i started Wisepilot in my Aino right now and it told me to upgrade to the latest version, etc, which i did....and it contained free search, maps, etc, etc.
psss.... i double checked and made a route to Finland and it was free....really cool. the older version told me right away to pay to even start a search for Maps, etc....but this latest version is rock on
pssssss...i also now checked example finding a friend here i live...it was free.....nema problema
check that out

is wisepilot totally free?
if it isnt free then it should be. For example apple sells iphones that plays back music but soon as you start to play a music file on the iphone it requires you to buy a activation code for the music media player software otherwise it wont play back music |
