Good day,
I'm a Sony Ericsson Fanatic and have used most of the phone models. But i have a problem with the one i'm using right now i mean with K850i. Having gotten the sites where i could get a new firmware for my phone with the firmware details here below:
R1EA031 APAC-ANZ
PROG12004404_CHINA_SO R1EA031
EROM: 1200-4341 SEMCBOOT R6A029
LCD SW versions
Main display Current 200712121 ...... ,
Having downloaded this firmware on my system 'R1FA037', opening it on my system, its says unknown application for it so i need help on how i can successfully get the required flashing tools for the firmware. The file i downloaded have a file extension ending with mbn so please help me so that i will successfully get the old firmware out of my phone for it bugs me a lot using an old firmware.

What about update via SEUS, much easier for you i thing 
btw: r1fa037 is just the same FW but branded from Orange operator, based on r1fa035

@ Lordx, I've tried it using the method and i won't just upgrade all i get is that my firmware is up to date but that's all lies cos i got to know from this forum that my firmware is out of date. So please help me if you know of any flashing tools that will be useful to help me getting my phone its latest update. |

I would like to help you, but i donīt have K850 enymore, so you have to read and try this for yourself:

you have to know, which CID you have (red 52/53) and download MAIN and FS from for example here:http://search.4shared.com/q/1/k850%20r1fa035
Every FW has english language, but if you want use china lng, you must find exactly china version.
