Should This Be Upgraded? |

I have a T68 upgraded to a T68i and I am running software version R5A020.
Tomorrow I am taking the phone to have the joystick replaced at an official Sony Ericsson service centre so while I am there I was thinking if I should get the firmware upgraded?
Basically I have decided on seeing what firware they have and I have had a bit of a read around on the forums that suggest getting the R6A firmware or the special EU firmware MMS 5? Is that right for the T68m upgraded to T68i? Because I can't just have a straight R6A right?
Anyway if I do get this upgraded will I lose any features, I'm sure someone mentioned that if you get this version you can't save pictures in MMS? Is this correct or something like that?
Please let me know and also do you recommend getting the update if I can or should I just leave it? My menus are a little slow?

The EMMA II server can upgrade your T68m only with a T68m firmware and not with a T68i firmware.
I tried having my T68mc upgraded with T68i firmware, but it wouldn't upgrade the phone. Not even the T68m firmware will do. I had to upgrade with T68mc MMS firmware. I upgraded from R2E006 to R6A012.

woa!! r5d is kinda ancient man....the latest is r7a for the t68m and the r6a for the t68i.....suggest u go ahead and upgrade....cheers!!

What is the latest firmware available at the moment for T68i ? My current firmware is R5D007. |
