Alternative to C901 ? |

when talking about camera phones, C901 is one of the best camera phones SE ever made. unfortunantly, SE stop making C901. So I think many SE camera phone fans seeking alternative to C901.
C901 advantages: (as my knowledge)
1. very good noise reduction/post processing system.
2. sharp, detailed, vivid, photo quality
3. Xenon flash + LED light
4. Durable candybar design (I hate most sliders/full touch phones)
5. no bugs/issues like C905/K850
NOKIA 6700c can beat the C901's photo quality. but in my experience, 6700c has smaller lens mean low shutter speed.
most of times, 6700c need to hold steady more time than others. otherwise blurred photo.
And 6700c lack of Xenon flash.
guys you can share your experiences.. whats another good camera phone ? |

i would say Aino 
but the phone i really looking for is a Black Nokia N86 with its super-gorgeous wide angle lens, AMOLED screen, etc, (the contrary to c901 is that N86 has very good build quality and stiff, nice keypad)

well depends if you want upgrade pr just switch? If upgrade, than maybe N82 cause it is smartphone, if switch go for The King - Motorola zn5.
edit: ofc N8 is on first place, I thought you want something simmilar

C901 compared with other phones; Space... That is closest to Aino. But no Xenon Flash..

N8 is a pure touchscreen phone, which I hate............a real keypad is probably nr.2 on my list of "most-important-thing" a cellphone should have........................
go for a Aino, W995 or N86....real, good, stiff keypad, etc.......

well, every sliders isn't bad you see. of all cellphones i tried, i surely can say that Aino, w995 and N86 have best slider-function and build quality

I have used Ocean White C901 for nine months, and it was the best Sony Ericsson phone I have ever used. It is really hard to find an alternative to C901 these days. I have tested Elm, and it's not even close to C901 when it comes to display quality & camera quality. My C901 also had an excellent build quality.
I sold it, two weeks ago, and I kind of regret it now. I should have kept it as a spare phone. I sold it only because, I can't live with 2.2 inch display any more. I finally bought an iPhone, I always wanted one, but never got one because of the poor camera.
As for C901 alternative, I have tested these top rated 5MP candy bar phones: 6700, ELM, S7720 Ultra b, and C901 beats them all. If you want a great camera in a phone, go for N8 (but bear in mind that it's horibble Symbian we're talking about), ZN5, Samsung i8510 Innovo8, Nokia N86 & Samusng Pixon 12 are among the best camera phones, but quite old now.
