Bro i had that same problem than sum1 advised me to download the "free download manager" (FDM) so just google (FDM) and download the manager and do all your downloads through there! It works like a charm for me, im sure it will work for you to!

@skurk does the fdm need any configuration done? or do I just copy the link to it?

@skippie7 what works for me when downloading through "fdm" is- when I try to download through any browser, the downloads automatically open with the "free download mennager"
so i just add the same proxy that im using in my browser,
to the "proxy settings" in the "free download mennager"
than i start my download,
thats bassically it!

@all, dont you guys think its funny that some software works perfectly on your pc but on someone elses pc it dont want to work, lol, cause take for instance the "fdm" on my pc it works perfectly, but on my brothers pc it aint working that good, but i used the same setup! Lol! So i can understand where genieas is coming from! I wonder why that is! Maybe its because our pc's are different and its set up differently aswell or maybe some software was just manifactured not to work on all pc's! Lol! I wonder!!!
