i have a Pentium 4 desktop
and my problem is everytime im going to turn on my desktop it still running but the monitor doesnt show the DOS command the info of my desktop, i already unplugged them all but still same problem..
sometimes it run and i can play and sometimes the problem what i said is the most i need your help..

i already encountered that problem when i bought new monitor.. And i tought the cord was damage, so i buy new cord, but the problem still there.. S0, i remove
the cover of my cpu and tightened all the wires to every terminals (harddisk, ram, etc.) then aftr that my cpu work well.. Hehe

Is there any sound/beep when you turn on your unit? if there is sound/beeps (one long and 2 short beeps)probably it's your Memory, try to remove and re-install the memory module....if it creates continuous sound/beeps or no sound at all, then, it's your mobo i think...
