Hey guys..
I'm looking for quick and easy way to have the usual shortcuts in the notifications area, shortcuts I mean WiFi, Bluetooth, etc...
I found several ways but all of them are complicated ( copying and replacing files, modding other files )... so is there's an easy method for doing it ?

As far as i know the easiest method would be installing an app from the play store which allows you to do that. I don't know if that's possible but u could give it a try. .
Or else u might need to root your phone and then do it.

Look here android market. The app is free, you can also easily change icons.
But you can also look at XDA/Xperia Arc/Themes section, there are many statusbar mods, some require replacing SystemUI.apk and some can be installed with CWM recovery. |

Hi.
I have had my Xperia Arc for 12 months and I have a continuous problem with lack of space. I always move apps to the SD card, but I still get constant messages about the phone being low on space and I can't update certain apps or download new ones because of this.
I have to keep on removing apps to try and make the message go away, but it doesn't always work.
What can I do?
Thanks in advance.

its the dalvik cache that has been corrupted or whatever. You need to wipe the whole phone. Happens when you have your phone to long and just update it and download, install and uninstall apps. Compare it with a windows computer which has not been formated in a long while, it gets slow

@motvikt: Couldnt it be done (if his phone is rooted), by using cwm or titanium backup to wipe the dalvik cache?

i also had this storage issue with arc, since i used the email app provided it only use the internal storage to store the emails. i downloaded the K-9 email application and deleted all emails from the builtin email app.
after that storage issues is much much better.
best regards

Agreed, I also used the same solution ( K-9 app ), it's silly to find some apps doesn't allow you to save it's large cache/data into the SD !!
I even moved some more apps to the sd card like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube... and when I need an app badly, I move it to the system partition.. like Go Launcher + Go Locker...

yes, but I'm not sure if this fixes all the low ROM issues. Easiest way is just to backup and wipe the whole phone |
