Likely it will only show as a background process... The camera interacts with the radio in some way as I remember custom ROMs for the Desire that didn't have a working camera due to an older radio version - the radio being 'baseband' in system settings. The radio is obviously one of the main uses of the battery so it makes sense that it would cause excessive drain...

+1. The same.
Only reboot or even twice reboot if first was around 3 minutes, the second around 50 seconds and it fix the prob.

Took a snap on the camera app.

I've downloaded Free Memory Recover from the Market and run it. It's closed down loads of services, so I'll see if it's force closed the camera module re battery performance.

It may be something to do with continual use of a the camera app. The odd shot may not trigger it to battery drain, but say if you were to take 3 - 4 in a row it may set off the battery drain. Certainly did it yesterday.

well.. i found it very funny..so i posted it here. It was really a very dumb test comparing a single core phone and a dual core one. But from the video, i see that the Arc is not that far behind. It was lagging behind in boot up and file download.
And rest it was very much close. As for the file download test, it could depend on the connection speed on offer from the operator. And Arc has max 7.2 Mps HSDPA while the 2X has 10.2 Mbps. Whether this affects the download speed? that am not sure.

Well LG has worse screen and design.
I'm not sure camera is that good either.

And read other LG 2x reviews.
Looks like the whole double core thing is not polished at all.
