According to a mail I reveived from Dustin (www.dustin.se) they
estimate the arrival of Sony Memory Stick DUO 64MB to 31/3.

Guess who will buy...or...wait until...

When the time has come they maybe have info about the 128Mb.

Take care P8 fans!

I placed an order today for the 64mb duo from here after confirming with them that they actually had it in stock.

(although just checking it now shows as out of stock!)

While I really like SonyEricsson as a company, I'd wish they'd used SD instead of crazy formats like MS for the P800. I already owned a 128MB SD (which was dirt cheap) card for my iPaq, which is now worthless to me. Meh, no use complaining, I guess.

But anyway, thanks for the heads up - when do you think the 128MB card is coming?

It`s a real shame it`s not SD but as it`s "SONY"ericsson it`s got to be the memorystick, What i`m REALY annoyed about is why they are`nt available, if the previous release date of september 2002 had been met, would we have still had to wait 6 mnths for the Duo, it`s allmost unbelievable that the duo is`nt here yet, this phone will be an antique by the time it`s got the memory it was designed to use.
Reminder; milk, sugar, crisps, post letter.

Hi Pachy,

I dont mean to be nasty or horrible but is it really worth having a moan about? I haven't even got my P800 yet as I thought that it would be better to be patient and wait for the release date in the UK. I know you guys have been waiting a long time for the P800 and now you have to wait even longer for the memory card but I bet the wait will be more than worth it!. Enjoy what you have, at least you have a P800!

I don't mind the Memory Stick technology...actually I prefer that since all my other electronics are Sony. Sony make excellent products but are to protective about their technology.

I can see the point of the people here though. I mean accessories often come a month or more after the phone release but with all the delays of the P800 you'd think that the duo's would be available at the same time, if not before!

@Zoidy, Oh i am pleased i have the phone, but those people who bought it in a store before christmas will be waiting 3 months for the Duo, remember this is a PDA aswell as a phone, & capacity is what PDA`s are all about, my real reason for the obove post was this;
P800 was due to be released in UK in september, OK so that being the case, why are`nt the Duo`s 128mb out till march.
I`m not really angry, i just find it ...well a bit strange.
