on the top its shows avalable memory, what kind of memory its shows?
If it ram, why do i have 27M of 256M even all app's are killed?
I have LG GT540

The android system itself uses most of the phone's memory, usual Task managers (like Advanced task manager) only kills user apps (non -system apps) @ default settings, download the app "Quick system info" and check it's task killer

There's also a setting within ATK for "security level"... this will also show system processes and other apps running in the background. Be careful, a lot of these are needed by Android.
What I do is set security to low, then exclude most of the apps EXCEPT those I know are memory hogs and non-essentials. Messaging, Gmail, Browser, games, etc. are not on my exclude list and I expect these to be closed when I exit.
On my Mini Pro, I have an average of 50MB free when ATK kills tasks.
