it always depends on what you want to do with your phone, android has tons of apps(programs/games) for free and for very cheap 0.5-5€
but there is a bunch of android handset to choose from with different specs

if you want lots of games which are mostly puzzles and rehashes get android, well hopefully with 2.3 and ps phone it gets better.
Going just by the numbers android's great, but how many of those apps and games are actually useful and even worth mentioning is another issue.
The user interface of android is definitely better. Havent used symbian in a while but it seems to be looking interesting after what they have done with n8, if they improve its keyboard and redesign some of its stuff then i might jump to symbian(i.e if psphone isnt really good).

Having an x10 & N8 at the moment I like both. Symbian 3 has some odd quirks & but the N8 is a fantastic device with huge improvements. The x10 is also fantastic though suffers from lag like alot of Android handsets do from my experience. Symbian 3 no issues with lag at all or memory issues

For starters...web browsing is so much better on Android. Even Opera Mobile has pinch to zoom. I've got both Desire and N8, the only time I would pick up my N8 is when I'm going to take a picture. |
