So that people actually CAN use video chat ????? Usually front cameras aren't all that clear and its not a great experience. Call it HD or whatever.
And there is nothing on that phone that looks like a "projector".

not all network can handle even current video call load and you are talking HD video chat.
unless this is some LTE or WiMAX capable or SE trying to do it a way similar to iPHONE? you can get HD chat only via WIFI? overall...I see no point...I used Video Call a few times and found it not that useful. Well personal preference...but if SE love a bigger camera for front facing to assist user for self protrait....I have no objection  although that too sound silly. |

is it just me or do all three new phones (ps phone, anzu and hallon) look very similar to the x10? i love my x10 but i also want it to be unique and distinguished from the rest of the crowd. If all these new phones look pretty much the same, noone can tell them apart...just my opinion.
i'm looking forward to upgrading from the x10, hopefully SE has learnt their lesson n will implement gingerbread properly with UXP and continue to update their phones. If i was to buy a phone right now in the current market, i'd still be looking at the x10... |

lol really? an x10? be serious, well have fun with your single touch screen.....
as to they all look the same, there's not much else manufacturers can do tbh. the front of most any phone today will look similar to any other phone, its all this touch screen phase, what else can you put at the front besides a large black screen?
oh also i dont think there is any other phone out with physical gaming controls, so if you want unique looks, i guess the psphone is down your alley. |

This phone reminds me of the W900 when closed. Its curves at the top and bottom. If the FRONT CAMERA would be in the left, that'd be its successor.

Is it just me or those X10-like keys don't blend very well with Hallon's design... I think the original Vivaz's keys look better. |

So Vivaz is being upgraded from Entertainment Unlimited to Xperia, I take it that Entertainment Unlimited is no more. Wasn't there some new naming scheme or branding for this year? So far we know that there is an Android Walkman and these Xperia but anything else that fits into a new category?

SE should really learn to look back at its history. If they don't want to boost sales by using up to date chips, then they should focus on design. Give us some nice two-tone colored phones. Like the T68, T610, ... but make it attractive, not just the front black and the back in a color that doesn't come forward untill you turn the phone.
good point
its good to have a consistent design language, but at some point you need to develop it further, but se didn't move from the spot since ... well you see it ... the W900. some HTC phones feel like expensive watches, se still has its fisher price look and feel.
