Android 2.3 definitely supports game controls, may (or may not) be PlayStation-related
Google's really been big today on emphasizing that Gingerbread is better than ever for game development, and that's already bearing itself out thanks to a page culled from the Android 2.3 SDK where we see a handful of new keycodes in the system clearly targeted for gaming: L1, L2, R1, R2, Select, Start, and so on. Does it have anything to do with the Sony Ericsson Zeus Z1 and all the PlayStation phone noise, though? We imagine it lays some of the groundwork, but all told, it's hard to say -- after all, PlayStation famously uses shapes for its primary controls, and we wouldn't be surprised if Sony were working on a separate development environment of some sort for PlayStation-branded titles rather than letting it all flow through the official Android SDK proper. We also don't yet know whether Sony Ericsson's gaming efforts are coming in the Gingerbread or the Honeycomb timeframe (though we're definitely expecting news next February at MWC), but one way or another, game devs should find it a little easier now to map the controls they need. |

+1
I also want a high-end android device with not so big in size. 3.2" - 3.5" screen size is enough.
My dream phone is a size like HTC Wildfire but the spec like HTC Desire HD with bigger camera.
Why all manufacturers always make its high end with the big screen size (>4") only?
Apple iPhone 4, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Sensation, HTC Inspire 4G, HTC Desire S, HTC Wildfire, S001, SO905iCS, T650 (Gold & Green), C901, W800, K660, K700, Beibei (G702), Severine (DEAD) |

Sony Ericsson will introduce three so called experience packs. In my opinion these are simple accesories. http://www.unwiredview.com/20[....]e-packs-xp110-xp120-and-xp130/
Honestly, I would appreciate much more the implementation of (menu) themes in a way, or an advanced file manager in the UXP.
No one is missing themes in Sony Ericsson Android phones? |

Well then, is there a Samsung or HTC out there that has similar specs and size to Vivaz + Android? |

i dunno maybe; HTC wildfire, HTC desire, HTC Desire Z, Motorola Milestone 1 or 2, Samsung galaxy S, Motorola Droid Pro, Google nexus one, HTC Legend, HTC Gratia, HTC Aria, Motorola Defy, must be many more with Vivaz specs or better with android and small'ish size. |

Why I love and I don't like Sammy, Nokia or HTC?... I had a lot of different phones, SE from K700 to Xperia X10, now I have a W980 (my favorite), C905, W995, Vivaz and Xperia X10, they are reliable and have always had an intuitive menu, these phones have everything who I need and have an original design, I don't know what a failure or problem with these phones, they are very reliable unlike other brands. I look forward to each new model from SE... it's just my opinion, I don't impose anything to anyone... that is all, is this sufficient explanation? |
