I had a wierd issue in 1.6 wherein all my gmail ids were coming into my contacts app as seperate contacts. For eg, I had 400 actual contacts but it showed 400+ 720 contacts ( the rest 720 simply contained name and gmail ids) is there a setting or sync setting or something which I need to change? Google contacts has really screwed up my phonebook. Opening a contact is now painfully slow due to this field duplication. Any ideas on how to delete the other 8 field duplicates for each contact?
