Patching a W760? |

I'm interested in applying some patches to a W760. But I can't find any patches for W760 at 4shared.com
So maybe I need to flash it with another firmware first? (Like I recently flashed a K610 to W660 in order to do the same).
If yes, which firmware should I flash my W760 with then? |

You know, 4shared isn't the only source for patches
Search on Google, you'll get more results... |

You'll need to change the certificate to brown with Omnius (not free) in order to permanently patch it.

Currently running with R3EA037 but can update with SEUS if necessary.
Will wait to see if I can find a "Remove Java Security Popups" patch before updating though. There doesn't seem to be one among the patches I've found so far, neither at the links Boysie posted.
I checked with DaVinci Client, which will make it brown for 5 euro. That's ok. But will wait till I find that java patch first.

bump
No one has any clue how I can patch my W760 to remove Java popups?
I don't care if I have to put another firmware on it first, or if it'll cost me. |

Having done some research of my own, I can agree that this patch doesn't exist. My suggestion would be to ask some1 to port it...
And another thing: If you are going to change your f/w, don't use SEUS! Your phone will get updated to CID 53, believe me, you don't want that to happen... |

Thanks for the advice.
Well, if anyone wants to port the Remove Java Restrictions to W760 R3EA037, name your price. |

Do you want to mess with hex?

Thanks for the link tranced. Quite interesting, but... woah!... that's quite a process for porting a patch. :-|
Will probably watch the videos many times before deciding if I can figure it out or not. |

Google for PatchConverter, I think that's way simpler than hex... |

Why do you criticise my replies like that m8? Have I done anything bad to ya?
As a matter of fact, I would like some help... Be kind and get to that link you gave me in my topic, I posted about a problem I encountered and think that I can count on you... |

Because I believe wrong information should be corrected for the benefit of the community and to not mislead noobs.
