Yup... I think the only true long term fix for this is by somehow showing the user id next to what they place as a vote whilst requiring a comment be left. Or maybe having votes expire.... say after 180 days.... that would also ensure ONE photo doesn't always stay at the top of the list.

I still think, the top-100 is useless, therefore I've hardly ever voted.
People look at the photo-section, to see what pictures are made by the phone they want to buy, so most go directly to the pics of that particular phone.
I've asked a few people around me, no Esato members, but they had visited the photo section several times: none of them even knew, there was a top-100 !
Imo, the top-100 is only important to those people, who desperately want their pics to be in it and the majority here doesn't give a d*mn !

thats true of most things in life IMHO.
even in the top 20 posters here its amazing how many people think that means something when in fact (as I've always said) it goes no where towards showing the quality of such posts especially as many who post their "achievement" these days do so based largely on their posts mostly being in chit-chat topics when in previous times it was earned by quality posts helping others with real issues.
I'd actually prefer this forum to cease such post counting as I'm sure it will reduce the amount of throw away posts we get these days.

Well despite being voted the most social member i actually spend more time in other threads. As for photos it does not matter anymore to me and why i did what i did I'll never know myself to be honest as it's unlike me.
