I can't even upload to the photo section, only to the forum, when trying to upload to the photo section, I get an error message, saying the software can't determine, whether the picture is made by a mobile phone  , dunno why, might be something on my pc, maybe the AV.
I can't participate in the monthly shootouts for this reason, otherwise not too bothered though  .

Did you edit the photos before hand?? Sometimes that makes the systems not recognise it

I resized some of them, on the phone itself, though, still, this might be the reason.
But I remember trying it with a full-size picture, as a test, and that didn't work either. Will have to do some more testing, when I have time.

Another question; why do pm many people vote 10? Most of the times a 6 or 7 is high enough.

The problem were people massively voting 1 on pictures, with multiple fake accounts, to vote those pics down, and voting 10 on their own pics, to get them higher in the top rated list.
Oh, yes.. I understand that, and I am totally fine with someone voting 1. But when the mod removed the votes from the guys who did vote bunch of ones, that picture didn't have any 1s.. and then the next day it had several I think, so I was just thinking it might be the same people again, that is all.
And, for some reason people vote either 10 or 1 i guess .. you don't see 7-8 very often. |

When will this stop?? I have had 3 more photos with 1 votes. Now the one I am showing you it's hardly a 1 shot is it?? I am not bragging but it's hardly terrible is it?? Maybe the voting system should be scrapped altogether & just let people comment

As far as I can see it (on the old pc at work ), this picture is very nice, it might not be a "10", but it's certainly not a "1".
Like some others already have noticed, people vote very extreme, either 10 or 1, now there are very few pictures so good, that they'd deserve a 10, but otoh you'll hardly ever see a pic here, that really would deserve a 1.
Like you, I also think (have mentioned it before), that it might be uselul to abandon the voting and the top-rated list for a while, not forever, only for half a year or so, by then the 1-voters might have lost interest.

More than likely they don't like the fact you have a HTC phone rather then there being anything wrong with the actual pic, or the 1 voters might have returned with a new account using a different ip address and have targeted you.
