software or antenna problem? |

I'm having a problem with my T68.
sometimes it is like there is no coverage(antenna shows no network gprs neither) but I know that there is nothing wrong with thr coverage at all(checked it with several other phones icl. an other T68). After I noticed this I called to the technical support and they told me to send it to them. This is what I did and it was returned after 4 days!!!!!!
what a service. They resetted the master key(that's what the letter told me that was done by ///) and new software was uploaded (R2A). But after a month I have the same problem again. Does anyone have this problem or does anyone know what causes it.
I'm an average user, calling and GPRS.

since you have a quite upto date software (latest version available is R2B) it's probably hardware related... I suggest you turn it in again, this time you'll probably get it swapped |

That could be, however after the software-update it worked well for 3-4 weeks so i'm not quite convinced that it is only hardware-related.

you can try to switch GPRS off and just be running on GSM, this might work.
There have been reports, at least here in Sweden, that when running with GPRS there is calling/coverage problems, seems like GPRS is causing disturbances for some reason (this occurs even with the latest software).
If it still doesn't work correctly I suggest you leave it to a  servicepoint so they can test it  |
