The sign is there but I didn't enter the earpiece

I cannot hear anything unless I plug the earpiece ,



My phone is Sony Ericsson W760i

Go to menu > settings > general > profile. Change it to normal and it's all gone. Outdoors will give you a tree, etc.

That's not the case , the sign which is showing comes only when you plug an earpiece to the phone ,

but in my problem the phone shows that it already has an earpiece plugged while I didn't plug one , and it isn't plugged :/


I can't hear anything without using the Earpieces ,,, : /

Pic is hard for me to see on 3inch display. Is bluetooth on? Turn it of. It can be hooked to a BT-set.

How old is the phone? Have you tried restarting or resetting the phone? Or you can try plugging and unplugging the headset numerous times. There may be a contact trigger in the jack that tells the phone that there's a headset plugged in... It might've gotten stuck or shorted out.

If you havn't restarted the phone yet, do that.
If you've done that turn it off and pic out the battery and insert it again.
