Hi to all.
There is a poll started, the admin of PNHT is agreed to make a tool to edit and flash custom rofs, and he asked to poll Sony Ericsson Satio/vivaz users their opinion.

You can flash a custom ROFS only if you sign it. I don't imagine him being capable of such things. |

Check this link the_laser wrote
if you know the_laser the programmer of setool has written this. and by using his info in a rofs editor tool there is no need to sign the rofs image.
After discussing and getting this information from the_laser we started this.
We need more votes in the above thread to have a custom rofs builder for Sony Ericsson Symbain Devices.
And for flashing a french team is already working on it.

vote if you want to see more applications and stuff for the Satio. Maybe this way we can make it the supreme SE phone. It has the hardware, but lacks the software. Even video AF can be integrated this way, and maybe 720p video.. custom camera driver, etc. VOTE

It's decided. NFE will have support for SE phones.
I have contacted the creator of SETool and when NFE is ready, we will have two options:
1- Create a library for NFE that will enable it to directly flash the phone
2- Supply NFE with SETool2 so that users can edit their FW
Now, the difficult part will be testing after coding. Plus, NFE must undergo lots of internal changes to support SE. However, i was planing to completely re-write some of NFE parts and i'm not sure if it will be easier to re-write or modify the existing one.
I'll be thinking about that and i'll keep you guys informed
