Customer retentions is a joke.

I was on 18 month £35 reduced to £20, 600 x network mins, 1000 texts, unlimited net (500mb) and a free Nokia 5800XM.

Now ask about upgrade told minimum for the same package would be £35 a month, (the phone was not specified to me).

How is that an upgrade ??????

The best they can offer me is same amount of mins, text and net for £20 a month, 12 months sim only ??????

Talk about not wanting to keep their customers.

Lol, I got off the phone with them 10 mins ago. My wife has been with O2 for 5 years, 4 of those on contract and now on simplicity. She wants an iPhone and the best they could do was 16gb for 24 x £40 + £88 initial cost on the standard iPhone tariff of 500 mins, unlimited data and text!

Needless to say we were not impressed!

That's an awful offer.

Look at Three's offer http://www.three.co.uk/Phones/iPhone/Plans

I am considering 3 at the moment.

6 1/2 years with O2 and they are doing the same as T mobile did to me after 10 years.

Was on exactly the same tarrif as you, but with 2000 texts, and got offered the same deal as you, with a free Elm

The woman on the phone sounded so surprised when I turned it down, made me want to kill myself

Would go with Tesco Mobile's iPhone deal, but O2 reception isn't great in my area so am going to go with the £10 Sim Only deal with Three, and either keep my Desire, or buy an iPhone 4 outright!
