Xperia X10 keys unresponsive |

I've had my X10 a short while and have just bought a gel cover for it and this is where the problem has arisen. When the cover is on the 3 main keys stop and start working randomly, the minute the cover is removed it works fine. Has anyone else experienced this? (quick google search finds 1 other person has experienced similar) or does anyone have any idea why this should happen?
The case is a snug fit but not by any means tight. It only covers the back, sides and top/bottom of phone and doesn't get near the 3 keys in question. |

Could be a heating problem... those gel covers do make electronic devices overheat... switches/contacts could expand and become more sensitive to movement.
Or maybe it's too snug.. it may not feel tight, but it may be squeezing the phone the wrong way? I'm just guessing here... have you tried any other brand of covers?
