Any ideas? I've tried an X10 but for some reason i wasn't happy with it and didn't like the fact that the flash doesn't actually flash!
What other Android phones have decent cameras?
Thanks. |

Apart from the Galaxy S, didnt the X10 have the best camera of all of them ?
Until now, Android phones havent had great cameras. The X10 was the best in the camera department IMO. Shame about no Froyo though.

I thought the Galaxy S camera is quite good, but has overly colourful exposures.
Id still choose the Galaxy S over the X10 anyday. Who needs 2.1 when Samsung are serving up Froyo ?

I seriously think the X10 Mini/Pro has one of the best Android cameras, I might be wrong but by judging by the pics posted here, they are better than the X10 Big brother

After looking at Gsmarena's website just now it says the HTC Desire has a good 5 megapixel camera and i really like the look of the Desire. |

Looks realy good, hopefuly Motorola will support it well and further improve the camera.

The Desire has a nice camera, but not brilliant.
Maybe you should wait for the HTC Desire HD ?

It's a shame there isn't any indication of image quality but it probably won't be any better than the HTC Desire. |

This is currently THE best Android camera phone! Xenon flash, 8MP, AF, touchfocus, facerecognition and so on... HDMI out is also present.
However, there seems to be something really wrong with the 720p video recording. It's got, from what I've seen in videos posted on Youtube, a terrible stutter. This can be due to using some of the first handsets, that has the ARM Cortex A8 CPU underclocked at 550 mhz. Apparently, it can handle 720 mhz, and Motorola has made statements promising the CPU will be clocked at what it can handle.
GSMArenas review also states that Motorola has promised FroYo on the XT 720.

If it were me id still go for the Samsung Galaxy S, its just the best all round Android handset with a nice camera. From what i can tell Android has no killer specification cameras in any phone it comes installed on. Id buy one if Android was my first choice of os.

The Galaxy S does not even have a led light to support the camera, and has a 5 MP sensor. That's mediocre in my book. |

if x8 with 8mp camera and xenon would've killed all the android phones. provided a nice hardware. i'm still looking for a pocket friendly android phone, size like x8 or aino with better camera and xenon, sadly there are no such phones |
