Looking for a cheap but fairly current SE phone. Due to my price (under £50) most likely going to be a candybar but i'm open to suggestions. Preferably not any UIQ as I need this to be simple.

Sorry, not a fan of the look of the Elm but I appreciate the offer! I'm interested in a C510 though |

Hmmmm the elm is so much better than the c510i to be honest with you though , i had one for ages as i now have a samsung wave and got to be honest it was a brilliant little handset the battery life was good and the camera i was very very suprised of the results . 
 
 anyways horses for courses ( its your choice)

No doubt the Elm is a good handset but I just need something that is simple and cheap and none of the Elm's features could justify the difference in price! |
