I had the same problem.

Try to uninstall it,..then restart pc.
Install again.
Restart computer again.

Now try and open a program that uses the phone monitor,..e.g. phone-back-up program.

Then try and open the phone monitor,..now your phone should be displayed

I used the phone-back-up program from http://www.christersson.org
I didnt do the phone back-up, just opened the program, the back-up-program then found the phone,..then I opened the Phone Monitor, and my phone was displayed

It works for me,.so try it out

It's supposed to say "slow syncronisation failed"...or something(on norwegian-"sakte synkronisering mislyktes"

Hei!

Kjetil

I'm having exactly the same problem, i totally agree its not likely to be a defective cable as the 'Outlook' plugin works fine with downloading both the SIM and Phone SMS's

Au you have created a board asking that question and there are answers in there. Ya don't need to post the question on every board you come to.
