is SRS some sort of Soround Sound system?

lol those hTC adverts on tv are pretty useful,
if your handset is ringing and you wanna shut it up throw it on its front and it shuts it up,
how kewl is that!

tried it on my Wildfire and it does it to

Well my DHD arrived, and is completely sim free unbranded as the guy from vodafone said it would be. So far I am very impressed with it, lots of new stuff added compared with the desire. Seems a little heavier than the desire, and is HUGE lots of free memory, locations is brilliant, not sure if I will buy the voice guided part after the free trial, as I already have copilot, but will try it on a few runs, and see how good it is compared to copilot. Love the quick access to features such as skins, wallpapers, ringtones, widgets and the like. Overhaul I am very impressed with it.

Yes me too & no issues as yet with it except when I scroll through alot of threaded sms it jerks a little for some reason. But overall fab. Can anyone tell me can you update HTC phone software via pc?? Reason I ask is cos when I try to install an 18.1mb update OTA my network won't let me & over Wi FI it keeps saying it's upto date. The update says it's improved screen control & You Tube or something.

Eldar posted his review of the Desire HD: http://www.mobile-review.com/pda/review/htc-desire-hd-en.shtml seems happy with it, just disappointed at the camera and poor batt life. I wish Htc ham put the same 1400mAh batt in the DHD, Moto Droid X similar features plus HDMI and manages to squeeze in a 1540mAh batt, otherwise this thing is a machine cant wait to try it out hn store.

Just reading the review.HTC Hub looks pretty cool.Nice unit Bonovox. That RAM is just screaming for Gingerbread update.

Nice review there Tsepz. Are you going to steal his style for your N8 review.
" This HTC flagship is truly a success story" You got a winner there Bonovox. Those two points he harps on about.Battery life and poor camera performance. What is your experience so far?

And good luck on finding out how to get that update onto your phone.

Well everything fantastic so far it is fast and slick and a pleasure to use. Screen is beautiful. Anyway as regards to camera the camera can take good pics but there is a left hand side focus issue of the pics where its blurry but its not bothering me. Also without proper shutter key its hard to keep still. As for battery like most big touch screen mobiles these days I get a day out of it. That's what I expected but with my fairly heavy usage I still have some battery left at the end of the day though I do not use twenty apps at once. I use internet calls texts some music no games and some video. It's a great handset overall with no issues just one or two minor ones like the camera focus and a slight lag in browsing lots of threaded messages. I use always on data for email and contacts plus weather but no gps always on or wi fi. Remember when the x10 first come out it had poor battery life but was improved and the same as the old Desire having poor battery.

IMHO the desire HD seems to have a lot more issues than the iphone had but people don't seem to care because its from HTC? Theyre both premium phones and both have a very high price, both should have the same level of critique, but they don't :/
