Hi there. I got a Hazel phone and recently I just found a problem. When I turned off my cellphone and turned it on again, I found that contact names don't appear in messaging (inbox, sent, etc), instead, they were shown as numbers (how do you expect me to memorize all the numbers @_@). I tried to restart it, sometimes it worked (the contact names appear), sometimes it doesnt.

But when I tried to call, the names appeared.... Sigh

Does anybody know what's wrong with my hazel? Thank you

Strange that nobody has replied yet. Anyway, i had that issue on Yari (U100i) a few times. The only solution was to shut down the phone, take the battery out for a few seconds and then restart. And it worked each & everytime.

I have a Hazel and I never experienced this before.

Try the workaround suggested above. But if it continues, I would suggest you reflash the firmware by using SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service), which can be downloaded off the SE support page.

even i have the same problem. the only way you can know whose number is appearing while viewing the messages under conversation tab is, to press the call button and u can know under what name it is stored.
i also have another problem. there is no pop up for new messages in the 'new events'.. | |
