possible wifi fix for x10 mini |

alot of people are having problems with the wifi on the x10 mini, i had alot of issues with it not connecting or connecting and disconnecting all the time.
i have managed to get mine to work alot better on my home wifi now by ticking the static ip in the advanced setting and then scrolling down and filling in the i.p address box and primary and secondary dns box and the netmask box with the subnetmask. i filled these in with the details found in my router admin page
i actually left the gateway box empty..
now all i have to do is turn on wifi and it connects automatically. it does disconnect everynow and then but i just turn it on the off and it reconnects
hope this helps some people

same thing happens to me with my SGS. it stays saying "authenticating..." but haven't been able to do anything for it still.
an IT guy told me that maybe it was a problem with the home router settings, but if it were the router, then everything connected to it should disconnect every once in a while, no?

my first update the x10 mini everytime the phones auto lock, the wifi disconnect  .

So far I've noticed the wifi will always disconnect when the screen goes off except when plugged in.
Other wifi issues are router related more than phone related
