I'm just waiting for the moment when P800 reaches Mexico but I've read that it's backlight really drains the battery and does it quickly.

I once have an Audiovox PCX3500XL PCS cellphone and what rocks about it is that it has a backlight on/off clock. That means you can program for example from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to have the backlight OFF and the rest of the time prepared to be ON when you open it or use it.

I wonder if P800 has this feature.

The p800 doesn`t drain quick but if your wanting too conserve power there are lots of options for how long the light stays on for on the p800. it`s not a problem.

Thanks I think my wish of a programable backlight (I can live without it) isn't as big as my wish of using (owning) a P800.

As i said, it has got an ajustable backlight timer. battery life would suffer if it did`nt.
