hai there, i wanna ask about my c510. it didnt vibrate when message come. i'm using service test, all of them work except vibrating alert. is there something about hardware or maybe firmware?
please help....

It seems so. Maybe the vibrator is not making contact with the board.

You can try. But I still think it's hardware. Has the phone had any kind of physical damage?

no, its never had...
its original didnt vibrate when i buy it..

Haven't heard of similar issue before but first things first.. I know it's a no-brainer but do check the vibrate alert option first and make sure it is ON then if it is and it's not working you may try a firmware update then.

i buy it new..

yeah, u have check it all, its turned on and also i use service test, but it didnt vibrate and i also have update firmware, and it still didnt vibrate...
i think its from hardware..

well, i think i want to sony ericsson costumer service. but, if its go with replace the board, how long do you think it will take? coz i love my c510...

Or, they'll replace your phone with a new, fully functional one.

IMO it won't take more than a week. I once fixed my W810 within minutes.
