THIS THREAD WAS MADE FOR ALL THE OPERA MINI FANATICS.
Right now our beloved 80.239.242.253 has finally been blocked by the SMART TELECOM. And some of our co-opera mini users are having trouble in searching for alternative working I.P's. Here is a tip on how to search for working OM4.2 & OM5 servers.
Ex. 80.239.242.80 is working opera mini server.
What we need to do is to increase 80 by 16. So 80+16=96. Now we have a new opera mini server 80.239.242.96. But wait theres more, the next digit to 96 is 97 right? Another working I.P. is 80.239.242.97.
Now we can also add 15 to 97 for us to have a new opera mini server 80.239.242.112.
Tandaan niyo lang mga esatons at leechers, na ang dalawang magkasunod na digits lang ang working I.P's na pwedeng maging opera mini servers.
EXAMPLE OF WORKING I.P.'s
80.239.242.19
80.239.242.20
80.239.242.35
80.239.242.36
80.239.242.64
80.239.242.65
80.239.242.80
80.239.242.81
Always remember to use 80 as your port.
Paki try nalang po ang setting na ito sa OM handlerui150 ninyo or download kayo ng OMLabsHandlerui150 dito HANDLER MOD INDEX
Pasensya walang screenshot kasi sobrang dali lang nito. Hehe. .
On your opera mini use this setting.
Http server:

middle query: (blank)
back query: (blank)
filter: (blank)
add port to non-port url: (blank)
remove port: uncheck box
dito na tayo may itatype
Proxy Type:
HTTP
Proxy Server:
smart.ph.smsarena.com:80 (for smart users)
t.globe.com.ph (for globe users)
username: (blank)
password: (blank)
nakakadownload po rin yan. AND USE GLOBAL I.P syempre.
phone settings
access point name (apn)
Internet (for smart)
http.globe.com.ph (for globe)
proxy address:
80.239.242.64
port:
80
then save and exit.

2 questions lang. Kung susundin kasi ang pattern na yan, hanggang what number ang pwedeng maximum value? Pwede ba hanggang 80.239.242.512?
At saka bakit yung 253 eh hindi naman yata pasok sa pattern na yan?

ahehe di ko sure if until what nga ba.
at kung mapapansin nagskip ng ilang ipis sa example ko kasi hindi lahat pasok sa pattern. ahehe
pero kung makahanap ka ng working server just add 16 or 15 sa last digit ng ipis hehehe para sa global i.p. pala itong tut.

Hey please PM me on how will I be able to use that free internet surfing through OM 4.2, I have already installed it on my phone Samsung GT C-3510, but it wont connect to the internet. It always says:
"Failed to connect to the internet.
Go to
http://www.operamini.com/help?version=4.2 with your desktop browser or contact your service provider for Internet settings."
Then theres a link for a connection test and try again.
I have surfed through my OM4.2 one time but at that time it consumed my regular load balance.
What should I do to enjoy that free surfing?
