REMEMBER ALWAYS DO A BACKUP BEFORE DOWNGRADE

1. Backup all your data
2. Start --> Run --> %programfiles%/Sony Ericsson/Update Service
3. Open the folder where you unzip this downgrade guide
4. delete DB folder
5. Open SE UPDATE SERVICE and force update.
6. While SEUS is downloading the necesary files, go to the folder db/13740270/blob_fs and locate the file about 370 bytes (384 in my case)
7. Rename the file inside the DOWNGRADE folder to match the file in blob_fs (remember that name, will need to delete later)
8. Once SEUS has complete the download and start the update(need to be fast with this, wait until start to update) copy the file of downgrade folder to the blob_fs folder, if you copy and overwrite the file before start the update will get an error message.
9. When SEUS finish, delete the file of step 7 (in the blob_fs folder) you notice that have a new file about 370 bytes
10. Rename the file inside the folder UPGRADE of your region to match the new file of step 9
11. Update using SEUS again and force update, when update begin (need to be faster again) copy the file of the step 10 to blob_fs folder
when finish turn on phone and check the version in: Setting --> Phone --> phone Management --> Device updates
If you follow all steps you get R1CA037, Install Helloox and update again to R2AK006

hello , i have a satio branded for Claro Argentina with R1CA037 ,i only want to update the firmware so i should only do the steps for the upgrade only or all the steps?? thanks |

hey my mobile is now downgrade with your new trick but now when i am trying to upgrade my mobile it is saying my mobile has already latest software please help.... |

1. open the folder %programfiles%/Sony Ericsson/Update Service in explorer
2. delete DB folder
3. Force update (you have R1CA037 firmware and seus will download R1CA037 files)

6. once SEUS start update copy the renamed file of the UPGRADE folder to BLOB_FS (confirm overwrite)

hey sethdev SEUS is not showing option of force update or any other it is just showing one option and that is of EXIT... i have deleted DB folder then started SEUS but after checking connected phone it says No new software is available for your phone and in the second line your phone already has the latest available software installed |

I've successfully downgraded the Satio to 037 quite a few months ago but whenever I tried to get 006 with hack, hack just goes away. Anybody had success with 006 and hack enabled after April? |
