Should I get an Elm or W995 ???
Camera mainly, Elmm pics appear better.

If you want camera quality then the Elm is much better. The 8 meg on the w995 makes little difference pictures are more noisy & it suffers purple fringing. The w995 is better for music & other stuff but for an all rounder the Elm cos it has it all but with a decent snapper too. Only downside is the screen sensor in lowlight goes a little too low in brightness terms but it's not that bad & it is good in bright light anyway.

Go get ELM but I am still shocked how the w995 is still so expensive after so long on the market. Cheapest right now is £179 in Phones4U was £149 at O2 but has since been taken off from their range

As others have mentioned, Elm camera wise is superior to the W995 except in those occasions where you"re completely reliant on the LED flash (W995 flash is much stronger). Internet wise, W995 is superior because of the 2.6 inch display , the speaker are also better for podcasts. |

Elm's video is VGA whilst W995 is QVGA. No brainer. Also the X10 Mini & X10 Mini Pro great cameras again with VGA video but only basic camera settings

I'd go for the Elm as well.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

W995 better build? I don't think so. I had 4 replacements when I had it & all had sliders that literally rattled(no kidding)at the bottom part. Also camera was poor(imo)screen & music yes is better but also regarding build. The back cover. Never fitted properly or clicked into place. Nothing wrong with Elm's build at all it's a nice solid device. @Plank even though X10 Mini is Android can the camera still be modded? I know little or next to nothing about modding. Only mods

poorer. hope you kidding a bit here.
 995 camera is often very good (and yes sometimes weak),
but tell me some cellphone-camera who performs 100% accurate)........at least you get rid of the yellow nuance as ELM produce.
ELM produce slightly sharper pics though but, overall camera wins ! (better, more natural colours)
ps..
about 995 build quality...i think its very very good.....not many cellphones who feels as robust as 995.

Now you're kidding,right?
The abundance of purple fringing and the smeared details is a BIG disadvantage...
The yellow nuance can be tamed using WB settings,AFAIK.
The poor module camera on 995 not.
Of course,i'm talking about the camera only.
The over(not at)all,yes,the walkman is better.
