I have here a brand new 16GB iPhone 4 still sealed and untouched locked to 3 but they are so easily jailbroken now and easily unlocked

hi,
dont usually unlock my phones so when it`s unlocked is there any traces of the 3 network in the os ie "my 3" etc

Unlocking has nothing to do with the branding. I guess that "My 3" is part of the 3 branding. The iPhone cannot be branded AFAIK.
