bought a SE T715 and was told it was cheap for a mobile. I spent $170 on this prepaid mobile phone and the sales assistant said it is small and cheap. he said some people pay $1000 for an iphone?!?! is this true? i live in australia by the way.

do you guys think the t715 is a cheap phone?

any phone more than a year old (except iphone) is going to be cheap as the mobile phone market moves on very quickly, even after all these years

170 bucks is a not a bad price for a good 1 year old phone, although it doesn't have GPS or wifi which are fairly ordinary these days

TechRadar T715 review

The T715 is basically a T700 in slider form but with a few extras like microSD card capability & threaded conversations. Camera hardware & driver seems the same as the fixed focus cam of the T700 which isn't bad for that type of camera. I had the T700 for over a year & it had excellent call quality, long battery life and was a great bluetooth HSPA/3G modem for my netbook.

Cheap it wasn't (quality wise) & considering I paid more for my T700 than you did for your T715 I'd say you got yourself a bargain. Get yourself a better set of earphones than the one that came with the unit - you"ll be surprised
