got a se t715. everytime i send text messages that are over a certain number of characters it says "no. of text messages:2" it charges me for 2 text messages instead of one! when i write a text message after a certain amount of characters it says "SMS 2". why is it doin this? is there a setting that i can change that will charge me for 1 text message instead of 2? i live in aus and im with three mobile.

If you go beyond 160 characters (which is standard)...it will start anew.

my text message isnt even 160 characters! more like 90. plz someone help me fix this!

Menu > Messaging > Settings > Text message > Max. msg length > Fit into one msg

Writing in a different language instead english is usually double coding, which means 1 letter = 2 characters!

i even tried resetting factory settings. still same problem after it was reset!

OO! OO! I know this! I know this!

There are a few odd characters when you use multi-tap and European characters that count as 2 or more letters.

The RETURN key is 2 characters

As is the TAB (this shows up in the list as a fallen "L" I think

any accented characters, like ü or é count as 2.

The German double s is 3 or 4 letters I think.

As is the 'paragraph' key.

In the Philippines, we're fond of using the ü in place of a smiley since it saves on characters, or so we thought ... I only noticed it when started including a character counter.

no i just use normal english characters.
