Other than reception, the phone has no other known issues. Slider feels good, battery life is exceptional and mine fell off a table, the battery and back cover fell off, but it is still in one piece without any major scratches.
What I meant by "other than reception" that it has similar reception problems with the Elm, In another thread, the antenna's location (below the phone) could be a reason or the software.

oh Sh*t!
ELM and Hazel shares each and every weakness and good quality features
but anyways, most of the phones' antenna is below the phone right ? My C902, my Old Omnia, both have the antenna below the phone

I'm still hoping for a software update. I don't mind as long as I have signal but it's weird that another 3G phone in the same network gets a solid 5 bars of coverage while my phone gets between 3-4.

get an ELM man, dont worry about the signal. It does indeed drops the bars often but unless you are stuck in a tunnel or a very closed room you will not have a proplem.Mine many times have 1-2 bars and i can talk crystal clear.

I live in a 3rd world country + I'm located in a rural area and the cellular coverage is not that great

Just don't use 3G unless you really really need it for some reason. GSM reception is fine.

I thought the Elm handled the reception better.
But both phones are the same, if you want a slider and a bigger screen, go with the hazel.
Calls at 1 bar are stable and none of them dropped. In addition, you can get signal where there is signal but sometimes it'll be lower than other phones.

to be honest I really don't know if the signal indicator is accurate or not, but so far SMS and calls are working even at 1 bar.
I have a problem with my Hazel's LED flash, it has this yellow type of reflector inside the LED which results in a yellowish color of the flash. I don't know if it is just mine or all Hazel phones. Will someone here with a Hazel please give feedback? thanks

Yeah I think the signal bar is a bit odd too. 3G coverage is a bit problematic, GSM is ok still slightly lower than other phones.
About the light, mine is white. I don't know about yours though.

Looks like I have a problem with the LED flash I made sure it is clean from the outside but it still makes this yellowish color, it looks terrible
@ Run_dawn10 could you please post a pic in a dark room on a wall with flash so that I can compare mine with your Hazel flash? thanks in advance

Thanks. It looks like Hazel does have some kind of reflector inside the LED flash, I thought mine was defective.
