Hi friends,

I have Sony Ericsson Vivaz (Black) and I want to change the color to Silver. I found some housing panels on ebay and some other websites.. her my doubt is if i change housing panel, will the phone warranty will be void or not??

Please let me knw asap, As i dropped my phone and has lot of scratches

Your warranty was voided as soon you dropped it. At least that's how it works here.

i just have some scratches on the back panel. it doesnt cracked and morevevr the phone is working fine. so i think i still warranty for the phone. just want to knw whether the warranty will void if change the housing panel...

Does your operator have the silver version of the phone? I mean, if they don't have they can easily state that the phone was modified.

So if it's modified? Get your cover, go to any mobile repair shop (or how it called in english) and let them to change. After changing you will get report what was made/changed to your phone. Keep it and thats all. They have license to fix phones, so why you should lost your waranty?
