How many updates for applications in a week!!!
There should be an auto update when in range of wifi feature or someone should make an application that auto updates installed applications.

There are people out there using other platforms who's apps hardly even get regular updates,so appreciate the fact that we have such a strong developer community in Android!

I can see how it can get annoying if you have tons and tons of apps.Im just grateful like Tsepz said that the few apps Ive installed are updated on a very regular basis.Thank goodness the app file sizes are pretty small and the procedure to update, download and install with Android is an absolute pleasure.

Another reason to get a Desire and use it instead of the X10.
Anyone know if theres going to be any new handsets from HTC coming? The Evo looks good with its larger screen and thats really what I like a large screen but unfortunately it's not coming to the UK, the Desire is only fractionally smaller than the X10 but I wouldn't go for anything smaller.

I don't know if this is Android-wide, or just the Sony Ericsson X10 running Donut... You can't resort the phonebook by first or last name. Let alone display it by first name, but sorted by last name. It's like the name in Gmail is one field, and the phone doesn't know which is the first and last name.

well, i think it is better to have too many updates than too few right?
as far as the update process is concerned, while it may be tedious at times, i prefer that updates are done manually. that way, you get to read user feedback first before deciding to update because not all updates are necessarily for the better, e.g., Astrid Tasks. some updates bring new bugs so sometimes you would rather skip them and wait for the issues to be resolved through, yup, another update! |
