X10 mini, 3g only, no 2g? |

Hi!
I have just bought a X10 mini... (yey.. ..and I love it, but when I got home, (my house is in a "3g-shadow") ..I only sometimes get one 3g bar at best.
But, it doesn´t seam to go 2g instead..
I have tried to turn on gsm only and wcdma only, and auto.. Nothing helps.
With gsm only I just get a red x above the reception bars.. 
I´ve also tried updating the phone, no difference.
I heard that the sim card can be to old, even though it works in my old phone it doesn´t have to work in a newer model..!?
I have a C905 that has good reception with that sim.. Anyone that can give me some help here??

That can mean one of two things:
1) no GSM coverage in your immediate area (or not the same frequency as the mini pro that you have)
2) you may have a 3G only SIM or 3G only account.
