help needed disabling new text messages on phone |

downloaded threadsms but now 2 different messages pop up any help with takin away the phones sms and keepin the threadsms 1. I have sony e satio on vodafone

I'm not sure what you mean, but you can't "take away" the built in message app. If you mean the SMS Preview-app, you can disable that by opening it in your Apps-folder, click settings and choose "disabled" instead of "enabled". |

sorry i mean when i receive a new text and the message appears on the standby screen like a wee pop up box sayin new message? Can i disable that so its just the threadsms that appears thanks in advance |

no you can't disable that. The new app should do that but if it doesn't then maybe on any next update of it? 
But why do you use it anyway? Is that not the same like the conversation app or i'm wrong about it? |
