Reinstall ONLY the firmware? |

Guys, I'm having far too many problems with my phone.
I want to reinstall the firmware but not loose all my data from the phone - contacts, calendar, photo's etc.
What's the best way to do this?
I know I can do a restore from a past sync but this would defeat the purpose of a fresh firmware reload, would it not? |

If you want to be sure of eliminating corrupt firmware, you have to flash to a clean slate.
Use MyPhone Explorer to backup contacts, messages, files, photos, calendar, notes, tasks.

MyPhoneExplorer supports iPhone?! That's excellent news. I'll try it today myself.

Try making a backup in iTunes, then restore the firmware and once that is done, restore the backup.
EDIT: Keep in mind that this will keep all of the plists (preference files), so if you don't want to keep those, you need to start from zilch and sync everything you want over.
