I have a Apple Iphone 3g 8gb unlocked by o2 and Jailbreak, comes with box, usb lead, plug adapter, 2 x rebel cases, screen protector and bits that cam with the rebel case
Handset is in good condition and has recently had the battery replaced for a brand new one. Open to offers on this

Just to point out guys this has been officially unlocked by o2 through itunes after filling in the o2 unlock form online and you can upgrade the software as much as you want as it will not re lock the phone.
This is also running latest firmware 4.0.1

The iphone 3G doesn't work properly with iOS4 that's why the phone may be acting faulty unless its a hardware issue? |

been informed you have to really press the home button to get it to function i never had this problem so will investigate and post details,
@ Julias i am aware is04 doesnt work properly on the 3g, its the multitasking that kills it but if you jailbreak just deselect the multitasking option

any chance of a pic of the back without a cover?
I like to use my phone naked so wouldn't have a cover on it!

Also... what's the low down on the home button? do you really have to press it hard?
