I've added yahoo mail to my X10 but apparently it's not supposed to be possible. Do you want me to post the settings?

Incoming settings

Username:
Password:
POP3 server: pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Port: 995
Security type: SSL (always)

Outgoing settings

SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Port: 465
Security Type: SSL(always)

Not sure if this will help or not. Can't seem to find any more to give you. I originally set mine up using the in-phone wizard.

The setting were not verified when i click the verify button.

Is it working on ur phone? Did u have to register ur email with the network service provider?

you could always setup a gmail account and setup your gmail account to pop your yahoo account.

No, I just used the wizard and it worked first time. I think it must because I have a relatively old yahoo account or something.

pop to yahoo generally works ok - but IMAP is where it gets very tricky.

k9 mail droid now supports imap to yahoo (there is an additional command that you have to send before yahoo
will allow imap access). You can use the imap server android.imap.mail.yahoo.com with your full email address as your username on port 993 over SSL. Theres no push capability unfortunately though because yahoo uses Push-Imap instead of Imap idle that pretty much everyone else uses.
