Battery loads to just 98% |

Bought a w508 and its a really slim and great walkman phone .. but when I charge the battery it will not charge to more than 98% no matter how many hours. I have even charged it from the evening to morning..but the same thing happens ..98%. Anyone who know what the problem is? |

I think its common in sony ericsson 
I've read it so many times. But i dont know why.

ye, it's common  bugs
just wait for 10-15 minutes after it reach 98% and try to reconnect the charger and it will show 100%

Tnx for the replies. I tried to shut down the phone, then charge it over nite, then it went up to 99% . The battery holds one day longer just because of this. Will try it again to see what happens . . |

It's not a big deal really. It will sometimes read 97, 98 or 99% after a period of charging but the battery will still be fully charged. Just unplug the phone and plug it back in for 2 seconds. It will now show 100% charged after unplugging again.

Turn off phone and then charge battery.
When is ready - turn on phone and see battery 100%

I tried that 2 times, first time it reached 99%, second time - woala! - 100%
