Try performing a reset to the phone. That would bring it back.

Just on the off chance,from your homescreen press the menu hardware key and select Search and type in Market.Just curious to see if anything pops up for you.

Debrand your phone. Here's the link to the tutorial.
I've Debranded my X10i and it had the market right after.
